This roasted Bancha comes from the foothills of Mt. Daisen in Tottori, an area known for excellent water. Mature autumn-winter leaves and stems are roasted without rolling, giving a dark leaf appearance that resembles Kyo Bancha but with a completely different character: no heavy smoke, just soft, comforting roast notes. Light and clean to drink, ideal after meals or in the evening. A slightly longer infusion brings warm caramel-like sweetness. A perfect everyday stock tea.
