Kyo Bancha (roasted bancha) is a classic everyday tea long loved in Kyoto. It is roasted harder than standard Hojicha, and 7T+ intentionally selects the original, very smoky style made with mature leaves and stems over a strong fire. The aroma is deeply smoky like a campfire, while the cup itself is surprisingly gentle with little astringency and a light mouthfeel. Brew quickly with boiling water, simmer lightly, or enjoy it as a latte. Also recommended for cigar and whisky lovers.
